Free Radio is one of the UK’s newest radio brands broadcasting to almost 800,000 people across the West Midlands every week. Free Radio love music, not just the new stuff in the charts but some of the good stuff from the 80s and 90s too – they call it Today’s best music mix and they reckon you’ll like it too. Free Radio presenters are real folk, just like you, they understand what life’s like in the Midlands and love to have a laugh. They’ll also be first to give you all the important bits too like travel and local news, to help you through your day.

Free Radio like to get involved with what’s going on round the West Midlands too. They know that people of the Midlands like to do their bit to support worthy causes so each year the station organise a series of big sponsored walk events and invite their friends to come and join in the fun. Last year over 23,000 people took part in one of Free Radio’s events and together a massive £760,000 was raised for local children’s charities.

They do love a good party too. For the last few years Free Radio have put on their very own big pop concert at the rather splendid LG Arena in Birmingham with stars like JLS, The Wanted, James Morrison, The Script, Emeli Sande and many more taking to the stage.
