PRINCIPAL AERODYNAMICIST Job reference: 01/2013
Reporting directly to the Head of Aerodynamics and overseeing the work of the Aerodynamics teams, the successful candidate for this key role will lead the overall aerodynamic development of the car with a particular emphasis on the wind tunnel programme, ensuring that it maximises performance improvements. Applicants must have considerable experience of Formula One aerodynamics development and team leadership

Essential Skills and Qualifications
• Qualified to degree level or equivalent in Aerodynamics or related discipline
• Qualified with A-Level mathematics and physics or equivalent
• Proven experience of working in a senior aerodynamics role within a Formula 1 environment
• Familiar with F1 Technical regulations and up to date with current CFD and wind tunnel techniques
• Experience of supervising the work of others
• CAD experience is a distinct advantage - NX desirable
• Proficient at using Microsoft Office (Windows, Excel & PowerPoint)
• Understanding of the wider inputs and issues associated with car design

AERODYNAMICS TEAM LEADER Job reference: 02/2013
Our Aerodynamics Team Leaders supervise teams of aerodynamicists working on specific regions of the car, whilst also contributing their own hands-on development work to the programme. The successful candidate will provide mentoring and inspiration to other aerodynamicists while overseeing activities in both CFD and wind tunnel, and present results to senior staff members both in Aerodynamics and other departments. He or she will also be expected to contribute to aero development strategy. Successful applicants will be expected to carry out their own CAD modelling and show a thorough understanding of the Formula 1 technical regulations.

• Qualified with A-Level mathematics and physics or equivalent
• Familiar with F1 Technical regulations and up to date with current CFD and wind tunnel techniques
• CAD literate - NX desirable, however candidates with relevant experience of other CAD packages will also be considered
• Proven experience of working in a similar Aerodynamics Role in a Formula One environment
• Proficient at using Microsoft Office (Windows, Excel & PowerPoint)
• Understanding of some of the wider inputs and issues associated with car design

SENIOR AERODYNAMICIST Job reference: 03/2013
Successful candidates will develop aerodynamic concepts, oversee their testing in CFD or wind tunnel as appropriate, then analyse and report the results and incorporate this knowledge into future designs. Candidates will also be expected to contribute to aero development strategy, and to help mentor more junior teams members. Senior Aerodynamicists will be expected to carry out their own CAD modelling and take responsibility for the legality of their designs

AERODYNAMICIST Job reference: 04/2013
Reporting to an Aerodynamics Team Leader, successful candidates will make use of both CFD and wind tunnel to develop concepts from initial ideas to finished designs. Proven experience in the analysis of aero data within motorsport is an essential requirement for this job.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
• Qualified to degree level or equivalent in Aerodynamics or equivalent qualification
• Qualified with A-Level mathematics and physics or equivalent
• Familiar with F1 Technical regulations and up to date with current CFD and wind tunnel techniques
• CAD Literate – NX desirable, however candidates with relevant experience of other CAD packages will also be considered.
• Proven experience of working in a similar Aerodynamics Role within a fast paced environment
• F1 experience desirable however candidates with aeronautical or automotive backgrounds will also be considered
• Proficient at using Microsoft Office (Windows, Excel & Powerpoint)
• Understanding of some of the wider inputs and issues associated with car design

MODEL MAKER Job reference: 05/2013
Successful candidates will prepare the model in the factory and offsite at the wind tunnel when testing. This is an opportunity for a candidate who has served a recognized apprenticeship in model making or associated engineering trade, to join an expanding and experienced team.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
• Served a recognised apprenticeship in model making, or associated engineering trade
• Previous experience in Formula 1 model making and wind tunnel testing
• Able to work to high standards under tight time restraints
• Able to work in a small team, and would like to make a difference
