SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER Job reference: 06/2013
Working with and guiding designers to develop concepts, drawings and demonstrate their understanding of design principles. Successful candidates will be highly competent Engineers with experience in motorsport or a similar industry and keen to work in a challenging environment. Candidates must have an understanding of manufacturing principals and the design of jigs and fixtures. An understanding of mechanical engineering issues associates with high precision/tolerance designs is essential. Candidates will be skilled at applying Maths and/or Physics, principles to their designs, and hold an Engineering degree.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
• Engineering Degree or equivalent experience
• Experience within a motorsport design environment.
• Proven ability as a designer.
• Proven understanding of CAD modelling, NX7.5 preferred.
• Skilled at applied mathematics or physics
• Experience of suspension, transmissions, hydraulic or engine systems is desirable.
• Proven understanding of manufacturing methods and the design of jigs and fixtures
• Proven understanding of mechanical engineering issues associated with high precision/tight tolerance designs.

COMPOSITE DESIGN ENGINEER Job reference: 07/2013
Successful candidates will work within the Design team, responsible for designing composite components and assemblies for the team’s F1 car. Candidates will need to demonstrate their understanding of composite materials and their manufacturing processes.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
• Achieved a degree level qualification in Engineering
• Skilled at composite component design
• Proven understanding of CAD modelling, NX7.5 preferred
• A knowledge of composite materials and their manufacturing processes
• Proven track record of demonstrating commitment, drive and initiative
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER Job reference: 08/2013
Successful candidates will work within the Design team to design components and assemblies for the team’s F1 car. Candidates will need to demonstrate their understanding of fundamental manufacturing processes and have a knowledge of jigs and fixtures. Additionally, an understanding of mechanical engineering issues associates with high precision designs.
